This website provides resources for students that will benefit them, as well as future students in the Town of Lamar and the surrounding communities.  Students sometimes have difficulty learning new material and concepts.  Each subpage of the STUDENTS page contains resources that will help students with their studies.  In fact, both teachers and students from the local schools completed surveys indicating the needs of students.  In other words, the teachers noted areas of weaknesses that they have noticed throughout their careers in education.  In doing so, they were aware of the fact that we are trying to help students become more successful in the classroom.  Likewise, the students who participated in the survey realized their input would benefit them and future students.  In fact, these resources should be of assistance to all students who are learning what the Lamar area students are learning now, as well as what they have been taught in the past.  With this in mind, resources are included that students can download and complete on their own.  In addition, internet resources are available to allow students to get extra practice and better understand concepts or topics in which they either need to review or gain a better understanding in order for them to be successful.
